Privacy Choices and Deletion

You can stop, remove a copy or delete the app. Your original photos are separate and stay where they are.

Last updated

You can play the included activities without adding family photos or creating an account.

Remove one photo

In version 1.4.0 and later:

  1. Open Golden Moments and choose Your family photos.
  2. Find the photo and choose Options.
  3. Choose Remove this copy, read the message and choose Remove copy.

This removes the app’s working copy, not your original. If you do not see Your family photos, your installed version does not include family photos.

Remove all photo copies

  1. Open Your family photos.
  2. Choose Remove all photo copies, then Remove all copies.
  3. If an error appears, try again or contact support with a description. Please do not send the photos.

Removing the app’s copies does not change your photo library, your cloud photo library or earlier device backups.

Delete the app and its data

On iPhone or iPad, use Delete App and confirm. This normally removes the app and the data it keeps on the device. Offload App is different: it can keep the app’s documents and data so they come back when you reinstall.

On Android, uninstall Golden Moments or clear its storage in the device’s app settings. Menus differ between device makers. Clearing data cannot be undone, so save anything you want to keep first.

We cannot erase anything on your device remotely, because Golden Moments has no user accounts or photo server.

Backups, iCloud and other copies

iCloud, Google, device maker or computer backups may contain app data, depending on your settings. Removing something in the app, or deleting the app, does not automatically delete copies from earlier backups. Check your device’s backup settings and the device maker’s guidance before removing a backup, especially if it protects other important information.

If you shared a photo with another person or app, that copy is theirs to manage. We cannot recall or erase it.

Photo access

Adding photos is optional, and the app uses only the photos you select. You can change photo permissions in your device’s Settings. Turning off permission does not remove copies already added; use the steps above.
