The Golden Moments App
Everything you like about the website, in an app that works offline and can use family photos you choose.
Start small
Begin with four large tiles and familiar pictures. Keep pictures visible, or hide them when that feels comfortable. Gentle mode has no timer, score or penalty. Choose 4, 6, 8 or 12 tiles.
Make it personal
Select family photos with your device’s photo picker. The app saves smaller copies for its activities. It does not scan your library or change your original photos, and it keeps up to 24 photos in one collection.
Just look together
View one picture at a time. Optional prompts invite conversation without asking anyone to remember names or give a correct answer. Simply looking is enough.
Offline where it matters
Starter pictures and all eight picture packs are included with the app. Imported photo copies work offline. Choosing originals stored only in iCloud may need an internet connection.
No account, no photo-sync server
Family-photo copies stay in the app on the device. You can remove the copies without deleting originals. Device backups may include app data. Read the app privacy policy, andapp help walks through each step.
Golden Moments is for recreation and shared conversation. It does not diagnose, treat, prevent or measure dementia or Alzheimer’s disease.
