Mobile App Privacy Policy
Your photos are personal. Here is what the Golden Moments app does with them, what it does not do, and how to make your own choices.
This policy covers the Golden Moments app on iPhone, iPad and Android. This website has its ownwebsite privacy notice. The app is for recreation, not medical care or cognitive assessment.
1. Who provides the app
Golden Moments is published by Cloudjet Solutions Pte. Ltd., Singapore. For privacy questions or data protection requests, email web@dementiaactivities.games. Please do not include photos, diagnoses or medical records in your first message.
2. Information the app uses
Picture activities and preferences
The app stores what its games need, such as sound and comfort settings and game state, in its own storage on your device. You do not need a Golden Moments account.
Family photos
Version 1.4.0 and later let you add family photos. When you choose to, your device’s photo picker lets you select them, and the app saves smaller working copies of up to 24 photos in its own storage. Optional captions, favorites and screen reader descriptions stay on the device too. Golden Moments does not run a server for uploading or syncing your photos.
The app does not scan your photo library, change your originals or identify people in pictures. Photos may show relatives or children, so consider their wishes before choosing or showing them.
Health information
The app does not ask for a diagnosis, medication list, treatment record or test result, and we do not try to work out anyone’s health from how they play. Please do not send medical details by email. If you do, we use them only as needed to answer your request or to comply with the law.
Support and rights requests
If you email us, we receive your email address, your message and any attachments. We use them to answer questions, fix problems, respond to privacy and content-rights requests and meet legal obligations. You never need to send a personal photo to get help.
3. Your device, network connections and other software
Photos and backups
Apple provides Photos, the photo picker, iCloud Photos and backups on Apple devices. On Android, Google and the device maker provide similar services. They work separately from Golden Moments. Choosing a photo whose original is stored only in iCloud may make your device download it. Depending on your backup settings, the app’s photo copies and preferences may appear in a device backup. Removing a copy in the app does not remove it from backups or from people you have already shared it with.
Network connections and third-party software
Current versions include the picture packs, so they play offline. Some earlier versions downloaded pictures over the internet; the server that sent them could see ordinary connection details, such as an IP address.
Earlier versions also included Firebase analytics and crash-reporting libraries from Google. Version 1.4.0 is built without Firebase or any other analytics or crash-reporting library. We do not claim that earlier versions made no connections.
If you choose to share device diagnostics with developers through Apple or Google settings, those companies may make diagnostic information available under their own terms. That never includes your family photos.
Other services you choose
Opening the App Store, Google Play, a website or your email app takes you to a separate service with its own privacy practices. This website is served by Cloudflare; it is not a photo server for the app.
4. Sharing, advertising and safeguards
We do not sell family photos or use them for advertising. The app has no photo sync, social feed or account. If you use your device’s own share controls, you choose the recipient and that service’s rules apply.
Our email provider processes support messages to deliver them. No digital service is perfectly secure, so we limit what the app is designed to collect. Set a device passcode and review your backup settings when keeping family photos on a device.
5. Keeping and removing information
Preferences and photo copies stay on the device until you change them, remove the copies, delete the app or the operating system removes them. Offloading the app is not the same as deleting it: offloading can keep its documents and data.
We keep support emails and privacy requests only as long as reasonably needed to answer them, investigate a problem, meet legal obligations or resolve a dispute.
Deleting files in the app does not delete them from existing cloud or computer backups. See the step-by-stepprivacy choices and deletion guide.
6. Your choices and rights
You can use the included activities without adding any photos. To remove the app’s copies, openYour family photos and choose Remove all photo copies, or open a photo’sOptions and choose Remove this copy. Your original photo library is not changed. Manage photo permissions and backups in your device settings.
To ask for access, correction or deletion of information we hold, such as a support email, or to withdraw consent where that applies, write to web@dementiaactivities.games. We may ask for a little information to confirm the request is yours, and the law may require us to keep some records. Your rights depend on where you live. We cannot remotely remove files kept only on your device or by other services.
7. Children and international use
The app is made for older adults, their families and caregivers. It is not directed at children under 13 and has no child accounts or public photo posting. If you believe a child has emailed us personal information, contact us so we can deal with it.
Cloudjet Solutions Pte. Ltd. is based in Singapore. Apple, Google, email services and other providers may process information in other countries, and the data protection and transfer rules that apply continue to apply.
8. Changes and contact
We will update this policy when the app’s features or data practices change, and change the date at the top. Where the law requires it, we will give extra notice or ask for consent. A new policy does not make an earlier undisclosed practice acceptable.
